Cloner terms of use

Cloner by OctoSpy copies the layout and code of a web page into a Shopify theme section. These are the rules for using it.

Only copy what you may copy

Use the Cloner on designs you own, designs made for you, or designs whose owner has agreed that you may copy them. Text, photographs, logos, product names and brand marks belong to whoever made them. Cloner copies how a page is built; it does not give you any right to what is on it. You are responsible for what you publish.

What you must not do

• Pass off another store as your own, or copy its brand, reviews, claims or trademarks.
• Scan pages you are not allowed to visit, pages behind a login, or pages that forbid automated access.
• Use the Cloner to overload a site, to collect personal data, or to get around a site's security.
• Resell or share your session, or use more clones than your plan includes.

How it works with other people's sites

When you scan a page, our servers load it like a browser would, once on a desktop and once on a phone, and keep a temporary copy for up to fifteen minutes so you can pick from it. We keep a short history of what you cloned (the page address, the name of the part and the date) so you can find it again. The Admin API token you type to push to your store is used for that one push and is never saved.

Takedown

If you own a design and believe it was cloned without your permission, write to hello@bliink.in with the page address and what was copied. We will look into it, can remove history entries and, for repeated misuse, close the account.

No promises about the result

Clones are checked against the live page and shown with a match score, but a copy can differ from the original, especially where the original depends on its own scripts, videos or live data. The service is provided as it is, and plans can change.
